Create your EduTrace account

Before you start

• You need an email address you can access.
• Use a strong password (don’t reuse a school portal password).
• If you are on a shared device, avoid “remember me” and always sign out.

Create the account

1. Open Sign up from the navigation or go directly to /signup.
2. Enter your name, email, and password.
3. Submit the form. If you see an error, read the message carefully (email already used, weak password, etc.).

What happens next

• If email verification is enabled for your deployment, you may be asked to verify your email before using some features.
• After sign in, you land on the dashboard with quick links to Notes, Quiz, curriculum grades, and tools.

Common issues

“Email already in use”

Try signing in at /login instead. If you don’t remember the password, see Reset a forgotten password.

“I used the wrong email”

If you accidentally used the wrong email, you can create a new account with the correct email. If you already created important data (notes, quiz attempts), use /contact and include both emails.

FAQ

• Do I need an account to read curriculum pages? Many curriculum pages are public, but saving notes, quiz attempts, tasks, and profile features usually requires sign in.
• Can I use the same account on phone + laptop? Yes-sign in on both devices.
