TraceAI settings & API options
Instructions, model options, and personal API keys where enabled.
Open TraceAI settings
When signed in, open the TraceAI panel and look for Settings (gear icon or menu).
What you can usually control
- Custom instructions (tone, language mix, step-by-step style)
- Model options (if multiple are available)
- API key (only if enabled on your deployment/account)
About API keys and quotas
Some deployments offer:
- a shared EduTrace quota (fair-use)
- optional personal API key for heavier usage
If you don’t see API key options, it’s simply not enabled.
